There are no more Apostles after those who initially served as a foundation for the church, and Rev. 21:14 certainly does denote a special place for the original twelve (no doubt assuming the twelfth is Matthias rather than Judas Iscariot). As a Christian I believe that God created men and women as He did for the purposes of experiencing marital love and procreation and to manifest His glory in these ways. As I posted here in Words of Wisdom on Oct. 29, I often tell young people that, although these are not the only marks of a good education, I consider the following to be two indispensable marks of a good education: 1. One discovers just how little one really knows. 2. One learns how to find out what one doesn't know. One learns how to learn. Anyone who has not gained these two things hasn't gotten a very good education at all. Anyway, over the years I've come to think these are pretty wise words, even if I do say so myself.

He was right to say that we are saved by Jesus' keeping of the law, but there is absolutely no sense in which Jesus Himself was saved by keeping the law.
