I propose an amendment that when the census is taken illegal residents are counted as -1.
RobBlair comments on Mar 5, 2019:
Once an illegal alien is identified, they should be removed. It isn't necessarily the states fault for the Federal Government failing it's duty. I agree that illegal aliens shouldn't be counted in the census. If we're passing an amendment, I'd propose removing immigration from judicial purview unless the individual has been provided a claim status (asylum hearing, green card, etc...). Come here illegally you go into a work camp for 1 year and then are removed excepting executive pardon. No trial, no appeal.

Marxism vs Fascism... discuss
RobBlair comments on Mar 5, 2019:
Marxism usually pertains to an international movement of workers rising up against the man where fascism is a national movement that incorporates some sense of national identity. Both involve state control over the markets and businesses and minimizes the individual. History shows that Marxism continues to spread where fascism dies with the failure of the country. I'd compare the 2 to malignant and benign cancer respectively. Marxism seems less evil because we don't see it. We see the concentration camps from Hitler. I've met gentlemen with bar-codes tattooed on their arm. We are kept almost completely ignorant of the Marxist failures in Venezuela, North Korea, Eastern Europe and the USSR. Remember all those videos in school showing Mao killing his own people? Yeah I don't either. Venezuela just happened. Did you see all those videos of poor starving people? Nope.

It's a great story and it parallels with the idea of limited oil (spice) being pumped out of the Muslim states (Fremen) to power airplanes and cars (space travel). But good luck conveying that in a 3 hour movie. In today's foolishness, we'll probably get some quasi-environmental message mixed in with the evil make Dune Great Again (Harkonnens) failing against the noble leftist freedom fighters (Atreides) with some obligatory intersectionality and tokenism thrown in.

"The right to mold the political, moral, and religious opinions of ... children is a right exclusively and jealously reserved by our laws to every parent; and for the government to attempt, directly or indirectly, as to these matters, to stand in the parent's place, is an undertaking of very questionable policy. Such an attempt cannot fail to excite a feeling of jealousy, with respect to our public schools, the results of which could not but be disastrous." - Massachusetts Special Legislative Committee, 1840 We will be sending our kids to public school but I am preparing myself to teaching them logical questioning, philosophy, religion and dealing with people who are wrong but in authority. You make it right or tell us that you don't think you are responsible for making it right. The next person reads the reviews and decides if that will please them. If so they engage in a trade and it continues. No government required. Of course dishonest reviews will cause dissatisfaction but that dissatisfaction will devalue everything in that market. So it is in the longterm interest of that market to police the reviews.

Climate change: It could turn out much worse than we think Climate and weather are considered to...
RobBlair comments on Mar 6, 2019:
Climate - It is already way better than what they predicted - I'll just pull out a couple of things - "Interactions are non-linear, meaning that small changes in inputs, physical interactions or stimuli can cause large effects or very significant changes in outputs." is wishy washy language. It is just as correct to say non-linear means large inputs could cause very insignificant outputs. I bring this up because increasing changes in CO2 concentrations cause diminishing changes in the greenhouse warming effect. "Predictions of future states of climate are impossible." - ? No. The models are getting more sophisticated. Hopefully the inputs are more accurate. They are definitely predicting the future state of climate. Whether they are accurate or not will be discovered. Actions if one wants to minimize risk: - OK, no. This presumes too much. The goal of anything and everything is not to minimize risk (stay home in bed under a blanket). The best way I've seen to approach the global warming issue is economically. What approach should be used to maximize wealth over the next 100 years? This can account for future losses due to global warming, sea rising, more storms, etc... The great thing about this approach is that someone has already done it and ranked it against other global economic issues. https://www.copenhagenconsensus.com/ I don't know much about global warming, but I know with great confidence that giving more power to a bunch of lawyers in DC, who think they know anything about the environment, is an epic fail. This is based on very sophisticated models using very accurate inputs showing our government is filled with a bunch of smart idiots who are happy to ruin this country for political votes [sarcasm intended].

Chronic undernutrition has significant neurological consequences, adversely affecting the hippocampus, damaging chemical processes associated with spatial navigation, memory formation and reducing myelination of axon fibers. This damage leads to loss of cognitive abilities and hence lower incomes. Robert E Lee's statue at Gettysburg is a good opportunity to talk about why 3/4 million soldiers died and to understand that even a somewhat noble person can be enmeshed in the mechanisms of a failed power system. Go look up some Mike Rowe podcasts. Not that there isn't room out there for deep thinkers, but a chef makes money and a college student does the opposite. Produce your art, make money and keep reading. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CVEuPmVAb8o
Egg the Left and you get fined and thrown in jail.

Jeremy Corbyn said - “[British Zionists] clearly have two problems. One is they don’t want to study history, and secondly, having lived in this country for a very long time, probably all their lives, they don’t understand English irony either.” He adds: “They needed two lessons, which we could perhaps help them with.” - https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2018/08/24/exposed-corbyns-deeply-anti-semitic-comments-teach-zionists-a-lesson/ There is not going to be a peace process unless there is talks involving Israel, Hezbollah and Hamas, and I think everyone knows that. Well at least Rockland County won't have anything to worry about if ever there's a zombie outbreak - no brains.
Just lost my Uncle Mark.

Tell us something about him so that we can remember and celebrate his life with you. Not sure how well drums go with harps but I guess we'll find out.

Bedfordshire Police do there job. Cambridge "Police" issue vacate order to TR because there is likely to be an issue. Turns out there was. Some people dressed up like cops acted like thugs. Then some person dressed up like a judge agreed that people dressed up like cops should act like thugs.

Multiculturalism is obviously foolish (glad the Aztec culture is extinct and the Nazis were defeated). Identity politics is wrong and should be defeated by pointing out its racism.

" “We are not investigators”?
RobBlair comments on Mar 27, 2019:
Wait? You mean they are lying to us? Sorry, anyone that considers these people as News gets the blame. Until they apologize and change their ways intelligent people should consider these sources as garbage. Good journalists know the truth and need to distance themselves.
With collusion deep-sixed, resistance switches to even crazier claims of obstruction.
RobBlair comments on Mar 27, 2019:
Its a delay tactic until they can insert a new narrative. Probably try the tax evasion ploy again. Us lemmings have such short attention spans.
Court-packing is Democrat's most dangerous attack on the Republic.

Should restrict the ability to add justices. I can't see a reason why we should need more than 9. Make this an amendment as part of the Convention of States. https://conventionofstates.com/cos-simulation

Clever use of the color red. I wonder what leverage Goldman Sachs has over the South African government. They aren't stupid and only an idiot would invest in a country that is quickly moving socialist.
So many are engulfed in the Democrat vs Republican side show.
RobBlair comments on Mar 27, 2019:
Not a side show for the Democrats. If you want Democrat policies, vote for Democrats and they will push their party planks. If you want freedom and prosperity, you do not vote for the Democrats. Now to actually get a Republican to forward a freedom and prosperity agenda seems to be the sticking point. Would love to see more libertarians argue their perspective in the primary. But, if you're suggesting a European model where a bunch of bureaucrats form a government with the minor percentage of electorate they each represent, behind closed doors... Doesn't seem to be a better system. What we really need is more press on representatives that do good work.
The Jussie Smollett case is a glaring example of Black privilege.

CNN president peddles new excuse for garbage Russia coverage, "we are not investigators".
RobBlair comments on Mar 27, 2019:
I think by this point we all have designated CNN watchers. Sometimes they're funny (Cuomo - the even dumber brother). Sometimes they are right (?). Often they're racist (the black gay guy). But until they repent and change, they are liars. Here is their most accurate news reporter though https://babylonbee.com/news/stopped-clock-named-cnns-most-accurate-reporter
We have just witnessed a teacher being bullied on social media and her school walking away from her.
RobBlair comments on Mar 29, 2019:
Should have gotten a picture with Betsy Devos too. I will say, the anti-semite term is being bandied around a bit to frequently these days. I have to go back to actual quotes and videos to figure out the truth (even from some conservative sources). Today the students learn that bullying works. Tomorrow the administration learns that letting the angry voices override academic integrity will cost respect and market.
